Lasting Legacy of Bill W. Wilson By Simbo Olanusi-Babatope,MD,FASAM Today we celebrate the legacy of Bill W. Booth, who is a co founder of AA peer support group. He is a man whose life story about his struggles and its victory over the disease of alcohol has inspired several men and women across the globe to obtain hope and victory over the disease of addiction. He was among the trailblazers that paved the way for the modern day road to recovery.
This is paying a tribute to a great man who even though is dead, continues to be a vital reference point in the recovery community. He still serves as a monument we all look upon as a source of strength and hope when going through the dark tunnel of addiction to the beautiful bright life of recovery.
He left behind the following legacy that continues to bless and enrich our lives today
